Veronica Brovall and Jakob Krajcik: GAP

November 3 -  December 9, 2017
Opening: Friday November 3 at 5.00 - 9.00 pm

hangmenProjects are very pleased to present Veronica Brovall and Jakob Krajcik in an exhibition that the artists chose to call GAP. The word gap, with synonyms such as wide opened mouth, throat, jaw, hole, crack, void, scream and roar, reflects the darkness of which their work is characterized. At the same time, their working process is characterized by a strong forward-looking energy, inventiveness and creativity, it’s these characteristics that compelled us to match these two artists . The exhibition presents new works by Brovall and Krajcik. These works forces us to see something else beyond what we recognize, works that become a play or a fantasy, where the making is the focus rather than the object itself. and where manliness becomes a material and a means of appropriating strength.
